These results have been revealed in a survey conducted on 500 delivery boys of four companies in the US. The survey was done by the US Department of Food. The department was told that complaints of delivery boys were being received for the last long time. Most consumers said in complaints that they get cold and less food. After this, the department surveyed the food delivery boys of UberEats, GrubHub, Doordash and PostMates App. It was revealed that the delivery boy takes an average time of forty minutes to reach the order of just twenty minutes. While some drivers take up to seventy minutes to reach the food. Due to this, consumers get cold food. Not only this, most consumers found food packing loose or open when ordering food. Some customers also received less food. The department stated that the main reason for this survey was to find solutions to consumer complaints.

Postmates

Postmates delivery app is available in more than 90 cities throughout the U.S. This app is quite different from other online food delivery apps. When someone places an order for food, the food valet who works for Postmates gets the alert and heads towards the restaurant for pickup. Then, they’ll pick and bring the ordered food directly at the customer’s doorstep. The delivery app not only offers food delivery, but also alcohol delivery to the user’s choice of location.
